Where is Kalévia jewelry made?
All pieces are handmade to order in our studio in Amsterdam, using traditional silversmithing techniques.
How long will it take to make my order?
Most pieces are ready within 3 working days, but please allow up to 5 working days for your jewelry to be handcrafted with care.
Once shipped, delivery time depends on your location. See our shipping policy for details. You’ll receive a confirmation email with tracking details as soon as your order is on its way.
What materials do you use?
We work with solid 925 sterling silver, natural freshwater pearls, and carefully selected gemstones like labradorite, garnet and tourmaline. Some pieces are optionally gold plated in our studio.
Are your pieces safe for sensitive skin?
Yes! All Kalévia jewelry is made with solid 925 sterling silver, which is hypoallergenic and nickel-free. Safe for sensitive skin.
Will my piece look exactly like the photo?
Each piece is handmade and finished individually. Subtle variations in shape, texture, and stone color are part of its uniqueness.
How should I care for my jewelry?
All Kalévia pieces are made with high-quality materials like solid 925 sterling silver, meaning they won’t oxidize or fade with proper care. For gold-plated pieces, a little extra attention helps preserve the finish. Avoid prolonged contact with water, sweat, or harsh chemicals, and remove your jewelry before showering. When not worn, store it in a dry place. Each piece comes with a soft polishing cloth to help you keep it looking its best.
Is my payment secure?
Yes. All payments are processed securely through Shopify Payments. We accept iDEAL, credit card, and PayPal. Kalévia never stores your payment details.
How will my order be packaged?
Every Kalévia piece arrives in a signature black jewelry box with a soft polishing cloth, packed securely in a padded bubble mailer to protect it during transit. Ready to gift, straight out of the box.
Do you accept custom orders?
Yes. We welcome custom requests. If you’re looking for a variation of an existing piece or want something made just for you, feel free to get in touch.

Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we ship worldwide from the Netherlands. All orders are sent with tracked shipping, and you'll receive a confirmation email with tracking details once your package is on its way.

How much is shipping?
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your destination:
- Netherlands: €6.50
- Europe (including UK, Switzerland, Norway): €14.00
- Worldwide: €22.00
Customers outside of the EU: please note that import taxes or customs duties may apply depending on your country's regulations. These fees are not included in the price and are the customer's responsibility.

How long does shipping take?
Each piece is made to order and typically ships within 5 working days.
Once shipped, estimated delivery times are:
- Netherlands: 1–2 business days
- Europe: 4–7 business days
- Rest of the world: 7–14 business days
All orders are sent with tracking, and you’ll receive a confirmation email once your piece is on its way.

Can I return or exchange my piece?
We want you to love your Kalévia piece. But if something isn't right, you have 14 days after receiving your order to return it for a full refund. No questions asked. Just email us at info@kaleviajewelry.com with your order number and a photo of the piece, and make sure it's unworn and in its original condition. Return shipping is your responsibility.
If something arrives damaged or faulty, we'll make it right and cover return shipping.
